tailsnow is a free, privacy-first coin flip generator. It exists to settle the small two-sided decisions that stall us — what to order, who pays, which side of a debate to start — with a toss that is provably, cryptographically fair.

Why a digital coin

A physical coin gets lost, scuffed, or tilted by the way you flip it. tailsnow replaces it with a virtual coin whose result is pulled from your device's cryptographic random number generator — the same class of randomness used to secure connections — so there is no human bias and no patterned series you might subconsciously fall into.

Every flip is yours

Everything runs locally in your browser. Flips, history and statistics never leave your device. No account, no tracking of your choices, no stored history on a server.

More than a fifty-fifty

Beyond deciding, tailsnow logs every toss and tallies heads and tails live. It is a convenient randomness drill for classroom draws, game nights and testing whether "long runs" are actually as unlikely as people believe.
